MEC Sello Lehari is optimistic that the final examination process will be a success in the province and learners will perform exceptionally well.
"During the Pledge Signing ceremony I told the Grade 12 learners that they should not be afraid of the examinations because our teachers have done their part in preparing them. Our target for this year as a province is 85% for the matric examinations and if we achieve position one that will be a bonus. We are ready for the examinations because we have trained the Chief Invigilators together with the Invigilators in August 2018 on how to handle the examination process”, said MEC Lehari.
MEC Lehari further said that, everything has been done by the teachers, now the department invites the divine intervention to guide all learners during the examinations by holding the provincial prayer. The department has invited members of different churches to attend the Provincial Prayer.
The Provincial Prayer will be held as follows:
Date: Friday, 19 October 2018
